PWT offers empty refillable filter cartridge that fit into standard filter housings. This empty refillable cartridge can be filled with your filtration media of choice in order to create a filter cartridge that is custom to your specific needs. These cartridges come standard with built-in pre- and post filters to keep the media from being washed out of the filter cartridge.

Empty Refillable Cartridge Features
- Durable refillable Polypropylene filter shell
- Built-in Pre-Filter: 100 micron reticulated poly foam
- Built-in Post Filter: 20 micron spun-bonded polypropylene
Note: The required contact time should be considered for the application and the contaminants to be removed. Too short contact times will not remove all the contaminants and may require multiple filter stages are reduction in flow rate.
Examples of using Empty Refillable Cartridges:
- Calcite media for pH neutralising and adding hardness.
- Activated carbon media for organics and chlorine removal
- Heavy metals removal using ion exchange resins or metsorb media
- Ion Exchange resins for ion specific removal like nitrates
